Spring Studio Update: What's New?

Does springtime spark your creativity? It definitely sparks ours! And, of course, that means we've been busy at the studio creating new items, ranging from Easter-themed mugs to flower and succulent pots.

New For Easter

            

We're currently working on making our traditional cross mugs for Easter again this year, and we're also restocking our "Do not let your hearts be troubled." mugs. We really wanted to add a new stamped mug to our Easter collection this time around as well, so we set to work creating a new design. We have to say, we are really excited about this one and can't wait to see the finished product. 

Right now, all of these mugs are in the drying process. Later this week, they'll be loaded into the bisque kiln, and then we'll glaze them and fire them again. After that, we'll have pictures of the final result!

Plant Perfection

Another item that we love making for spring is planters and succulent pots! Spring just makes us crave the outdoors, and we love making pots that help bring some of the outdoors inside! Right now, we've got several pots underway as well as a variety of succulent holders. These guys are also drying out and getting ready for a bisque firing and a glaze!

     

Flower Power

And, lastly, it wouldn't feel like spring without making some of our flower mugs! We've been making this large flower design for several years now, and its a favorite each year! We already have a few of these listed on the site, and we plan to add more throughout the spring and summer!

So, there you have it! Those are some of the projects we've been working on this spring, and we plan on having many more to come!
