Are mugs dishwasher safe?
Yes! Our mugs are made from durable, cone 10 stoneware and are dishwasher safe unless otherwise specifically stated.
Are mugs microwave safe?
Yes! Our mugs are made from durable, cone 10 stoneware and are microwave safe unless otherwise specifically stated.
Are mugs food-safe?
Yes! All of our mug glazes are food safe and lead-free!
Are your items handmade?
All of our items are made by us right here at the studio! We begin each piece on the potter's wheel, then create and add embellishments by hand.
How do Pottery Points work?
Pottery Points are added to your account when you make an order from our website, share us on Facebook, or like/follow us on Facebook, Instagram, or Tiktok! You can redeem them later as a discount on a future order. You can also gain discounts with referrals! What is your Shipping Policy?

Shipment Processing Time
We process and ship orders within 3 business days (Monday-Friday, excluding weekends and major holidays). We ship via USPS Priority Mail and UPS Ground. Please allow a few days for transit time once your order has shipped.
Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates
We currently offer free shipping on all non-wholesale orders! We will send you a shipment confirmation email when we have shipped your order. It will include a tracking number so you can keep an eye on your order’s progress. Orders typically arrive within 2 - 7 business days.

Damages and Missing Packages
We do our utmost to securely package and protect your pottery. However, since pottery is fragile, it is occasionally damaged in shipping. We request that you report damaged product(s) to us within 48 hours of delivery.
For damage claims, please email nelsonstudiopottery.com with the following information:
- Your name
- Order number
- Description of the damage
- Photos of the damage
If you suspect your package is missing, please email us at nelsonstudiopottery@gmail.com, and we will do our best to work with the carrier and help you locate it. We greatly appreciate your patience in this matter, as it may take a few days for the carrier to complete an investigation.
