Tate's never actually been on a Valentine's Day date before - unless you count that one time when he met up with his realtor at the coffee shop and realized it was Valentine's Day when the barista asked him if he wanted red and pink sprinkles on his coffee. He promptly declined. That's because Tate's the sort of guy who refused to be deceived by mega-company marketing ploys He can't abide paying seven dollars for a generic card when he could be spending that money on a six-pack of beer. He also refuses to wait in line for hours to eat food that he could prepare himself in under thirty minutes and with way more flavor.

Though he's not a fan of Valentine's Day, he's still the perfect mug for the event (though he will most certainly judge you for falling victim to the hullabaloo). He is a one of a kind piece, completely handmade from cone 10 stoneware. He was first thrown on the pottery wheel, and then his eyes and features were made and added by hand. He is very durable and is even safe to use in the MICROWAVE and DISHWASHER. He is an Ug-Chug Mug, so he's stamped with the Ug Chug logo and his year.
