For years, Henry endured the taunts of 'four-eyes' and 'nerd' and other names inspired by his thick-rimmed glasses. But then glasses became cool - so cool, in fact, that several of his friends now wear them even though their eyesight is 20/20 - and Henry suddenly became an object of admiration among his peers. Not accustomed to all the positive attention, Henry tries to avoid the spotlight by burying himself in his current epic sci-fi read. But now that those are popular, too, he's had little success.
 
Henry also enjoys beverage holding, and he is great at it! He was first thrown on the pottery wheel and his eyes and features were made and added by hand. He's made from cone 10 stoneware, so he's very durable and is even safe to use in the microwave and dishwasher. Henry is an Ug-Chug Mug, so he's stamped with the Ug-Chug logo and his year.
