Bethany is just trying to make it through another evening of her child's homework, one common core math problem at a time. She misses the good ole' days, when two plus two equaled four, and you just memorized your math facts without having to know that Tom had twenty-seven candy bars and made that into a bar chart and then a pie chart and then counted backward and forward on a number line after making an array, and then he used several math properties to prove that if he ate one and shared one with every kid and had two left and got two more, then two plus two is four.

Aside from needing to brush up on her common core skills,  Bethany is a great piece of pottery. She is great for toothpicks, paperclips, and mini sips. Bethany is completely handmade from cone 10 stoneware, which means she is very durable and is dishwasher-safe.

Bethany is about 2.5" tall and 2" wide. She is finished with a food-safe glaze in chocolate black and is signed and dated. 

She is carefully packaged in a gift box using materials such as bubble wrap and packing paper and shipped in a sturdy shipping box. Her personality descriptions and care instructions are included in her packaging.
