Alexander's look of nervous apprehension can only mean one thing - he's hoping his plans get canceled. You see, in his mind, Alexander still loves concerts and parties and staying out late at the bowling ally. After all, they were fun activities when he was in college. But as he's reached middle age, those activities have become rather painful to him. Though he still accepts invitations to such events, he will use almost any excuse he can - from having no clean socks to de-matting the cat's fur - in order to avoid them.

Aside from dreading social events, Alexander's main hobby is beverage holding, and he is great at it! He was first thrown on the pottery wheel and his eyes and features were made and added by hand. He's made from cone 10 stoneware, so he's very durable and is even safe to use in the microwave and dishwasher. Alexander is an Ug-Chug Mug, so he's stamped with the Ug-Chug logo and his year.
