Rufus takes his nightly routine seriously. He likes to begin his bedtime preparations by ensuring that every electronic device in the house is not only turned off but also unplugged. He then drinks a mug of relaxing chamomile tea while listening to a soothing soundtrack of soft, classical music - by firelight, of course. Once he's donned his silk pajamas, he tucks himself under his weighted blanket, fluffs his customized pillow, and flips his reading light on to its lowest setting. After a chapter of enriching reading, he pulls down his eye mask and nose breathes until he's fast asleep.

In addition to his nighttime habits, Rufus also takes beverage holding quite seriously, and he is great at it! He is a one of a kind piece, completely handmade from cone 10 stoneware. He was first thrown on the pottery wheel, and then his features were made and added by hand. He is very durable and is even safe to use in the MICROWAVE and DISHWASHER. Rufus is finished with a food-safe glaze in Brick Red. Rufus is an Ug-Chug Mug, so he's stamped with the Ug-Chug logo and his year.

Rufus is ready to ship and is carefully packaged in a gift box and shipped in a larger, sturdy shipping box. Our packaging materials include packing paper and bubble wrap. His personality description and care instructions are included in his packaging.
